About GameHelpBase

An independent guide site for survival and crafting games, currently covering Delverium. Here is what that means, and what these guides will not do.

What this site is

GameHelpBase publishes reference guides for survival and crafting games. Right now that means Delverium, which is in Steam Early Access, and nothing else — there is no second game hub yet, and the site does not pretend to cover games it has not written about.

The guides are organised one folder per game, one folder per guide beneath it, and every guide uses the same article layout: a quick answer, a contents list, the article itself, and a FAQ. That is deliberate. A site that looks different on every page is harder to read than one that does not.

Independent, and not an official source

GameHelpBase is an independent site. It is not affiliated with Sagestone Games, with Delverium's publisher, or with Steam, and nothing here is endorsed by them or written on their behalf.

If you want the authoritative answer on anything about the game, the developer's own store page and announcements outrank this site every time. Where it matters, our guides link to them.

How we source what we publish

Every factual claim in these guides is sorted into one of four levels, and the level decides how the claim is written:

  • Officially confirmed. Stated by the developer, or published on the game's official store page or news posts. Written plainly.
  • Reported by players. Something players have described after playing. Written as a report, not as a mechanic, because one player's experience is not everyone's.
  • From the demo or an older build. Kept, but labelled, because the Early Access build has moved on. You will see phrases like "in the demo" on exactly these sentences.
  • Unknown. Left unanswered, and said to be unanswered.

What that means in practice

The site will not publish a crafting recipe, a drop rate, a damage value, an item location, a boss drop, a shop inventory or a taming method it cannot verify. Where that information is missing, the guide says it is missing rather than filling the space.

That makes some pages shorter than they could be. A page that confidently states the wrong recipe costs a reader their evening; a page that says it does not know yet costs them a minute. The second is the better trade, and it is the one this site makes on purpose.

It also means these guides are written from officially published information and developer announcements. They are not written from hands-on testing of the game, and they do not claim to be. Each guide says so at the foot of the page.

Early Access, and why the guides carry a date

Delverium is in Early Access, which means balance, recipes and progression can change between updates. Every guide therefore carries the date it was last revised and the version it describes, so you can judge how current it is instead of assuming it is.

When something changes, the page is rewritten rather than patched around. When something cannot be confirmed, it stays marked as unconfirmed until it can be.
